Tehtaanmäki 110 kV GIS substation and 110 kV cable project energized.

TMV's first 110 kV GIS project was commissioned on 4-5 August 2020; the project will be completed finally 10/2020 and the as built drawings will be completed immediately upon completion of the project. The delivery includes a new GIS building, 110 kV GIS switchgear, 110 kV cable connections, relay protection and automation systems. TMV’s personnel has made 110 kV cable terminals and cable extensions.
2019-2020 TMV has grown the substation installation team and currently has six installers in the team. The personnel focus on special installation tasks and the personnel are also trained in the 110 kV cables’ termination and joints works. The installation team is scheduled to grow during 2020.
The substation is important for the region's industry and hydropower production, serving four Fingrid customers and improving the region's electricity reliability. TMV has done some same time changes to Fingrid Oyj's customers' 110 kV substations.
