Fingrid Oyj ordered the construction of a 110 kV substation in Palojärvi from TMV

Fingrid Oyj has ordered the construction of a 110 kV substation in Palojärvi from TMV Service Oy. The new 110 kV substation in Palojärvi will replace the Pamilo substation at the end of its current service life. The Palojärvi substation will be built on the new site a few hundred meters from Pamilo station. The delivery includes turnkey deliveries including a new control building, 110 kV equipment foundations and earthworks, secondary systems, 110 kV primary equipment, design, commissioning and testing. Work will start in autumn 2020 and be completed in spring 2022.

TMV has several demanding 110 kV substation projects underway, including Tehtaanmäki 110 kV GIS substation and 110 kV cabling, Kontiolahti 110 kV substation extension and renovation, Vaskiluoto protection system renewal and Simojoki 110 kV substation delivery. Project deliveries have progressed well despite the exceptional situation.
