FINGRID HAS ORDERED FROM TMV THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE ALAJÄRVI 400/110 KV SUBSTATION

The delivery includes the expansion of the existing 400 kV outdoor substation and the construction of a new 110 kV outdoor substation. The project includes all civil works, foundations, primiary equipment for 110–400 kV substations, protection and automation systems, installations, commissioning, and designs and documentation.  The value of the order is almost 15 M€

A significant amount of new wind transmission is planned for South Ostrobothnia. Fingrid aims to connect nearly 2,000 megawatts of new production capacity to Alajärvi substaiton in the coming years. In the first phase, the Lestijärvi wind farmdeveloped by OX2, will be connected to the Alajärvi 400 kV substation.
